Handmade here in York, England, the Bowl Buster features our largest carbide tip at 20mm, mounted on a heavier 12mm British steel shaft for the strength and stability you need when taking aggressive cuts through dense or difficult wood. Whether you’re roughing out a large bowl blank, hollowing deep vessels or powering through green wood, this chisel will handle it with confidence.
The carbide tip stays sharp far longer than traditional high speed steel — no standing over a grinder between cuts. And when it does eventually need replacing, it’s a simple job with the included hex key. Just swap the tip and you’re back at the lathe in minutes, replacements tips available in our shop
